Veteran Actor Yusuf Hussain dies at 73

Veteran actor Yusuf Hussain has died at the age of 73. Film producer and Yusuf’s son-in-law Hansal Mehta has informed him about his death on social media. The late actor has worked in several films like Raees, Dhoom 2, Dil Chahta Hai, Oh My God.

Hansal Mehta wrote on his Twitter, ‘I have completed two schedules of Shahid film. I was stuck in the middle. I was worried that my career as a filmmaker was about to end. He (Yusuf Hussain) came to me and said if you are so worried I have fixed the deposit and it is of no use to me. He gave a check and Shahid film was complete.

Hansal Mehta wrote – ‘I am an orphan now’

Hansal Mehta further writes, ‘He was not My father-in-law, he was my father. Today he has gone so that he can call all the girls in heaven the most beautiful girl in the world and every man the most handsome young man and say – Love you, love, love you! Yusuf Sahab, my new life is because of you. I am truly an orphan today. Life will no longer be the same. I will miss you very much. And yes- love you, love you, love you!’

Yusuf Hussain worked in films like Road to Sangam, Crazy Kukkad Family, Blue Organs, Khoya Khoya Chand, Dhoom 2, Dabangg 3, Krrish 3 and Vivah. Apart from this, he has appeared in the serial CID.

Yusuf Hussain’s daughter Safina Hussain is married to Hansal Mehta. Yusuf Hussain had three marriages. He said in an interview in the year 2012, ‘I have done three marriages but, still I am looking for a sensible partner.’
