With the latest turn of events, a video has gone viral on the internet, showing a military police officer, identified as Thiago de Lima, shooting his wife, Erika de Lima, to death. According to a New York Post story, the incident occurred in Brazil.

In the released video, Thiago de Lima can be seen on the surveillance camera hitting her many times before fatally shooting her with a handgun. According to news reports, they were together for six months and frequently engaged in violent fights.

During the last fight, Erika attempted to remove Thiago from the car, intensifying the entire situation. In the course of the altercation, Thiago reportedly struck Erika in the face multiple times before ultimately shooting her twice with a gun.

According to the story in the New York Post, Thiago left the scene but returned after a while to conceal the body. Allegedly, he was in the process of putting Erika in the car when neighbors caught him. Although he attempted to take her to the hospital, she was pronounced dead.

A few months ago, Erika had reported Thiago for domestic violence. During one incident, their fight escalated to the point where Thiago allegedly threatened Erika with a revolver, but the charges were later dropped. Unfortunately, Erika has now passed away, leaving behind her two daughters. Thiago is currently in police custody and will probably face charges of homicide.
