Ronna McDaniel’s hiring has been objected to publicly by MSNBC personalities: Joe Scarborough, Lawrence O’Donnell, Joy Reid, Nicolle Wallace, Jen Psaki, and Rachel Maddow.

In the memo by the NBCU News Group chair, Cesar Conde, it was announced that McDaniel would not be involved in the list of contributors.

The Memo

The memo stated,

“There is no doubt that the last several days have been difficult for the News Group. After listening to the legitimate concerns of many of you, I have decided that Ronna McDaniel will not be an NBC News contributor.”

Last month, RNC chair, McDaniel, was kicked out, and the position was jointly given to Lara Trump and Michael Whatley, reported The Guardian.

Lara Trump is none other than the former President of America, Donald Trump‘s daughter-in-law.

On Sunday, Ronna McDaniel was interviewed on “Meet the Press.”

She defended her time with the Capitol attack in 2021, her stance on the 2020 election, and her time with at the GOP.

Maddow, the famous MSNBC host, compared Ronna McDaniel’s hiring with letting a mobster work in a district attorney’s office.

Ronna McDaniel on her weekly program Monday night stated,

“I find the decision to put her on the payroll inexplicable and I hope they will reconsider that decision.”

She added,

“When you’re the RNC chair you kind of take one for the whole team, right? Now I get to be a little bit more myself, right? This is what I believe.”
