This year the Delhi government has proposed Rs 16377 crore for the education sector. This Delhi budget of education has been kept at 25 percent according to the last 6 budgets. The Delhi government has said that this year it is taking 3 major steps to elevate the quality of education in schools.

Three steps to better education

The first is to create a new syllabus from nursery to 8th.

The second is to establish Delhi’s own board of education examinations.

The third is to establish 100 schools of excellence in Delhi. In which students from 9th to 12th will be taught by giving world class facilities. In addition, there is a proposal to open a Sainik School in Delhi.

Teachers will be sent abroad for training

This year, teachers will be sent to IIM, Cambridge, Harvard, Finland and Singapore for training. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Guru Govind Singh IP University.
