Congress leader Kirti Azad to join TMC Today: ANI

“Congress leader Kirti Azad will join Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Tuesday at 5 pm in the national capital, Delhi” informed by sources.

Let us tell you, In 2015, Azad was suspended from BJP for targeting Former Union Finance Minister Late Arun Jaitley over alleged irregularities and corruption in District Cricket Association. In 2018 he joined Congress.

Former Cricketer Kirti Azad was elected in Lok Sabha thrice from Darbhanga in Bihar. He had also fought the 2014 general elections on a BJP’s ticket.

Kirti Azad has played 7 Tests and 25 ODIs for India between 1980 to 1986. He was also a member of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian team. This information has come amid the visit of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to Delhi, she will be in the national capital till November 25.

Let us tell you, West Bengal Chief Minister will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday to discuss issues pertaining to the Border Security Force (BSF) and the development of the state during her visit to Delhi.
