Dhanteras 2022: 30+ Best WhatsApp Status Video To Download For Free

The festive season period has officially begun. It’s time for the celebration of Dhanteras, just the same as we did with Karwa Chauth as well as Ahoi Ashtami. In essence, Dhanteras heralds the start of the five-day Diwali celebrations. Many people are unsure about the exact date of this momentous occasion this year.

India is currently dominated by the festival’s atmosphere. People are already preparing for Dhantrayodashi after commemorating Karwa Chauth on October 13th. The Diwali celebrations are now in full swing. Dhanteras will be observed this year, in 2022, on October 24. The festival of light is observed to commemorate the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

On this day, Lord Vamana kills Bali, Lord Krishna vanquishes demons like Narkasur, and Lord Rama arrives at his home in Ayodhya after fighting Ravan. Dhantrayodashi is recognized as the formal start of the festive seasons throughout India, except for Maharastra, and it ends with Bhaiya Dooj.

Dhanteras is also known as Dhantrayodashi in Hinduism. This holiday is observed two days before Diwali. It usually occurs in the month of Kartik on the Hindu calendar.

According to legend, Lord Dhanvantari, the god of medicine and a manifestation of Lord Vishnu, was born on this day. It is regarded as particularly lucky to purchase expensive jewelry, like gold or silver, and household items on this day because it is said that purchases made on Dhanteras rise thirteen times. On this day, it is customary to worship Lord Dhanvantari, Lord Kuber, and Goddess Lakshmi.

The triyodashi tithi, according to the drikpanchang, will begin at 6:00 pm on October 23, 2022, and end at 6:00 pm the next day, or on October 24, 2022. (October 24, 2022). On October 24, Deepawali, a sacred festival, will be observed.

The Hindu holiday of Deepawali, also known as Diwali, is regarded as the grandest holiday because it symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. Commencing with Dhantrayodashi and finishing with Bhai Dooj, the grand celebration lasts for 5 days. According to the Hindu calendar, the holy festival of Dhanatrayodashi is celebrated every year on October 23, 2022, on the occasion of the Triyodashi of the Krishna paksha of Karthik month.
