Tripti Dimri was born on February 23, 1994, in Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Her mother’s name was Meenakshi Dimri and her Father’s name was Dinesh Dimri. Tripti completed her schooling at DPS, Firozabad, and Graduated in Psychology from Sri Aurobindo College. After completing her graduation, she joined the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune to hone her acting skills.

Career

Tripti Dimri made her debut in 2017 when she bagged a role in ‘Poster Boys’. ‘Poster Boys’ was directed by Shreyas Talpade and the film was also his debut directorial venture. Shreyas Talpade was enacting the lead role in the comedy and Tripti was his love interest in the film.  The film was originally made in Marathi and was named ‘Poshter Boyz’.  Despite her role being brief, Tripti was able to hold her own against the other stars.

Tripti next appeared in the romantic drama ‘Laila Majnu’ in 2018 and Avinash Tiwari was her co-star. Despite a normal storyline, Tripti was able to give a phenomenal performance in the film.

However, the role that gained her much acclaim was in Anvita Dutt’s 2020 supernatural drama ‘Bulbul’. Avinash Tiwari was again her co-star and her performance was widely appreciated. The role which required her to portray the transformation from a vulnerable doe-eyed damsel into a mysterious character was perfectly enacted.
