4th Test: To come out on the right side of the very hard-fought series feels very good, says Rohit Sharma

India’s thrilling five-wicket win over England in the fourth Test and series victory pleased captain Rohit Sharma, who praised the team’s response to challenges. Dhruv Jurel’s crucial knocks and impressive bowling performances contributed to India’s success in the match.

Jurel’s 90 and 39 not out, along with partnerships with Kuldeep Yadav and Shubman Gill, played a significant role in India’s victory. Debutant Akash Deep impressed with three wickets, supported by Ashwin and Kuldeep’s bowling efforts in the match.

Rohit commended Jurel for his composure and performance in just his second Test, highlighting the importance of providing a conducive environment for young players. Despite missing key players, Rohit expressed satisfaction with the youngsters stepping up in their absence and the team’s overall response to the challenge.

The captain emphasized the motivation gained from the series win and the importance of continuing the momentum into the next match. He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to perform well in the upcoming fifth Test in Dharamshala on March 7.
