Premier League: Bowen's hat-trick fires West Ham to 4-2 win over Brentford

West Ham United secured a 4-2 victory over Brentford with Jarrod Bowen’s first Premier League hat-trick. The win ended West Ham’s six-game winless streak and moved them up to eighth place in the standings. Brentford dropped to 16th place, five points clear of the relegation zone.

Bowen scored two quick goals in the first seven minutes, followed by a goal from Neal Maupay for Brentford. The game remained tight until Bowen scored his third goal in the 63rd minute, with Emerson also adding a goal for West Ham. Yoane Wissa scored a late consolation for Brentford.

Bowen’s early goals set the tone for West Ham, with his first Premier League goal since December followed by a second goal just moments later. Maupay quickly pulled one back for Brentford, but Bowen completed his hat-trick with a header in the second half. Emerson then sealed the victory with a stunning long-range strike.

Wissa’s late goal made for a tense finale, but West Ham held on for the win. The victory was a much-needed boost for David Moyes’ side as they look ahead to an away trip to Everton on Saturday. Brentford will be looking to bounce back from the defeat as they aim to secure their place in the Premier League for next season.
