Mark Zuckerberg likely to meet S.Korean tech leaders, discuss AI

Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg is set to meet with South Korean tech companies and startups, including Samsung, during his visit to Seoul. This marks his first visit to the country in over a decade. He will discuss potential cooperation in XR and AI businesses with industry leaders.

Zuckerberg is expected to hold talks with Samsung Chairman Lee Jae-yong and LG Electronics CEO Cho Joo-wan during his stay in Seoul. He will also meet with representatives from five XR startups at Meta Korea’s office to advance the company’s XR headset technology. Additionally, he is likely to meet with President Yoon Suk Yeol before heading to India.

Meta Korea has not confirmed any details of Zuckerberg’s trip to Seoul. The CEO of Meta Platforms arrived in South Korea after his visit to Japan. His visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships and collaborations with leading tech companies and startups in the region.
