Tech Mahindra, Pegatron sign MoU to develop AI-enabled private 5G networks

Tech Mahindra and Pegatron have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Mobile World Congress 2024 to develop private AI-enabled 5G solutions for global enterprises. This partnership aims to provide end-to-end 5G for Enterprise (5G4E) solutions for global enterprises and manufacturing customers.

Tech Mahindra’s President – Asia Pacific and Japan Business, Harshvendra Soin, stated, “Our robust market presence, close ties with telcos, communication partners, and extensive expertise in global 5G rollout will provide IT and network services to Pegatron.”

Pegatron’s Chief Technology Officer, Dr Shue, mentioned, “We are honoured to collaborate with Tech Mahindra to create resilient network solutions around AI-led use cases that will optimize investments for enterprises globally.”

The partnership will leverage Pegatron’s 5G products marketed under the Pegatron 5G business unit and Tech Mahindra’s expertise in large-scale 5G transformations. This collaboration will identify opportunities globally with Pegatron providing the 5G connectivity layer and Tech Mahindra offering end-to-end 5G services.
