Over 4,000 businesses attend the inaugural Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain

The Regional Industry Conclave at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh saw the participation of over 4,000 business houses worldwide. Events like Vyapar Mela, Vikram Mahotsav and Regional Industry Conclave were held simultaneously. Adani Group announced a massive investment of Rs 75,000 crore, creating 17,000 job opportunities.

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Raghuvendra Singh, mentioned that it was the first time multiple events were organized alongside the business conclave. Besides Indian business houses, delegations from countries like the US, UK, Japan, and others took part in the event. PepsiCo also announced an investment of Rs 1,250 crore, creating 500 job opportunities.

Moreover, an MoU was signed with LTI Mindtree for a Rs 500 crore investment in developing a super corridor, creating 10,000 jobs in the IT sector. Chief Minister Yadav had one-to-one meetings with over 20 business houses during the two-day conclave. With such investments and collaborations, the Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain marks a significant milestone for Madhya Pradesh’s economic growth.
