Navana.ai introduces its new multilingual voice model ‘Bodhi’ as India makes significant investments in AI.

New Delhi, March 8 (IANS) As the government doubles down on AI with IndiaAI Mission, homegrown startup Navana.ai announced ‘Bodhi’, its second-generation multilingual Voice AI model available in more than 11 languages. Founded in 2018 by Raoul and Jai Nanavati, Navana.ai empowers businesses to create user-friendly digital interfaces for the next billion.

The plug-and-play methodology of Navana Automatic Voice Recognition (ASR) software simplifies adoption, offering enhanced customisation with over 85% accuracy. “Nearly 75% of the population prefers voice-based interactions,” said Raoul Nanavati, co-founder of Navana.ai, dedicated to bridging communication barriers and facilitating online engagement, particularly among non-English speaking Internet users.

Navana.ai’s flagship deployment, ‘Hello Ujjivan’ app, developed with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, completed a year, with 725,000 downloads, majority by women. 50,000 loans are repaid monthly, and 40,000 customers give consent to new loan requests through the app. “We believe ‘Bodhi’ complements Indian LLMs for real-time AI use cases,” stated Raoul.
