PM Modi scheduled to engage with IIT Gandhinagar students on March 13

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is set to host a virtual interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 13 to delve into the Indian semiconductor mission. The event will bring together over 500 IITGN students, faculty, staff, and participants from various higher educational institutions across the country.

During the virtual interaction, the Prime Minister will shed light on the strategic significance, potential impacts, and progress envisioned for the semiconductor mission within India’s technological and educational spheres. This platform will offer valuable insights into the mission’s goals and objectives.

Following the interaction with the Prime Minister, IITGN will organize a preparatory workshop called ‘The Relevance of Semiconductor Mission of India, and Opportunities for Academic Institutions’. Industry experts and academic personalities will provide insights, paving the way for a deeper understanding of the semiconductor mission’s implications.

This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry and promote collaborative efforts towards the advancement of semiconductor technology in India. The event signifies a pivotal moment in the country’s technological journey, with a focus on fostering innovation and growth in the semiconductor sector.
