NBCC sets new record with Rs 1,905 crore earned in e-auction for commercial space in Delhi’s WTC

New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) – NBCC (India) Ltd has set a new record by achieving its highest-ever revenue of Rs 1,905 crore through the sale of 4.8 lakh sq ft of commercial space in the 25th e-auction for WTC Nauroji Nagar in South Delhi. Power Finance Corporation Limited, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited, and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited were among the major organizations that purchased space during this e-auction.

Out of the total area sold, approximately 4.38 lakh square feet valued at around Rs 1,740 crore were bought by PSU entities. The successful bidders included five parties, with three being PSU bidders and two private entities. This achievement showcases the strong demand for premium commercial space in the capital city, as stated by NBCC.

With over 30 lakh sqft of commercial inventory sold through 25 e-auctions, NBCC has generated a total value of over Rs 12,100 crore so far. The WTC project, a symbol of excellence, has garnered interest from various industries and is currently nearing completion with more than 94 per cent of physical progress achieved.

The redevelopment of World Trade Centre as a commercial hub in Nauroji Nagar, South Delhi, involves the construction of approximately 34 lakh square feet of commercial space in place of 628 old government housing quarters. The project has attracted marquee buyers and is a testament to the company’s dedication to delivering quality infrastructure in the heart of the city.
