Ola Electric Achieves Record 115% Growth in FY24

Bengaluru, April 1 (IANS) Ola Electric reported a remarkable growth of 115 per cent in FY24 over FY23, with 328,785 units registered. In Q4 FY24, the company saw a 42 per cent growth with 119,310 units registered compared to the previous quarter.

According to Ola Founder and Chairman Bhavish Aggarwal, the company crossed 50,000 registrations for the first time, reaching 53,000 in March. The EV industry experienced a significant growth of 30 per cent in FY24, with over 9 per cent EV penetration in March.

With the introduction of the S1 X (4kWh), Ola Electric’s portfolio now includes six products catering to customers with different range requirements. Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, stated, “We recorded almost 1.20 lakh registrations in Q4 FY24 alone, demonstrating the strength of our scooter portfolio.”

Ola Electric has also announced an 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for all its products at no extra cost. The company aims to continue its growth trajectory and contribute to India’s electrification journey further.
