Samsung India’s head of digital appliances, Saurabh Baishakhia, revealed that the company anticipates AI-powered Bespoke appliances to account for 70% of sales in India by 2025. The showcase of Bespoke home appliances with AI capabilities has revolutionized the smart home experience, enhancing connectivity and user experience.

Baishakhia highlighted, “With AI appliances, our aim is to strengthen our premium range and bolster our market share in the premium appliances segment.” Bespoke appliances in India include refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves, and washing machines, all now equipped with AI technology.

Samsung’s AI-powered appliances aim to surpass customer expectations in the expanding premium appliances market. The integration of Wi-Fi, internal cameras, and AI chips facilitates seamless connectivity, offering convenient home management through the SmartThings Application.

Furthermore, Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances feature the Bixby AI Voice Assistant, enabling users to control their appliances with voice commands. For instance, users can instruct their Family Hub refrigerator using voice commands like “Hi Bixby! Show me what’s inside the refrigerator” or “Hi Bixby!
