New Delhi, April 15 (IANS) Bhavish Aggarwal-led Ola Electric announced new prices for its S1 X range of e-scooters, starting at Rs 69,999. The deliveries will commence next week, addressing the high upfront cost of EVs and driving EV penetration nationwide.
The S1 X e-scooters are available in three battery configurations: 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh, priced at Rs 69,999 (introductory price), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999, respectively. Ola Electric aims to make EVs more accessible with these competitive prices.
An Ola spokesperson stated, “With the new prices of S1 X and a wide product portfolio, we are confident of driving EV penetration further across the country.” Additionally, prices for S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ were also announced, offering a variety of options for customers.
The S1 X range of e-scooters offers impressive range capabilities with 190 km, 143 km, and 95 km in the 4 kWh, 3 kWh, and 2 kWh models, respectively. Powered by a 6kW motor, the scooter boasts quick acceleration and top speeds, catering to different riding preferences with three modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports.
