TCS Announces New Delivery Centre in Brazil, Creating 1,600 Jobs

New Delhi, April 15 (IANS) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has unveiled plans for a new delivery centre in Brazil, set to generate over 1,600 job opportunities in the next five years. The centre, located in Londrina, Parana, aims to boost the local economy and enhance TCS’ presence in the region.

TCS Brazil Country Head, Bruno Rocha, stated, “We are looking to double the number of associates in key areas such as cyber-security, cloud, cognitive business operations (CBO), ITIS, AI and automation, reflecting our dedication to innovation and excellence in technology services.”

With a current workforce of around 1,700 in Londrina, TCS is expanding its operations to focus on critical sectors like business transformation, artificial intelligence, and CBO. The centre will offer a wide range of IT services to clients in Brazil and beyond.

Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, Governor of Parana, expressed his interest in leveraging India’s digital capabilities to enhance Brazil’s digitization efforts. TCS has been present in Brazil for more than 20 years, with operations in Londrina, Sao Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro.

The new delivery centre is a testament to TCS’ commitment to driving technological innovation and fostering economic growth in Brazil. As the company continues to expand its global footprint, the centre in Londrina is poised to play a pivotal role in meeting the evolving needs of clients in the region and beyond.
