New Delhi, April 16 (IANS) Emergency healthcare provider Medulance has secured $3 million in Series A funding to enhance its operations across India. The company plans to improve emergency call answering and services response time in more than 500 cities.
The funding round was led by Alkemi Growth Capital, with participation from investors such as Dexter Capital, Aman Gupta, and Namita Thapar. Co-founder and CEO of Medulance, Pranav Bajaj, expressed gratitude for the support from investors to elevate the standards of emergency healthcare in India.
Medulance currently operates with a fleet of up to 10,000 ambulances in over 500 cities. The company aims to expand to more than 1,000 cities in the next 15-18 months and establish partnerships to extend services to additional states.
Co-Founder and COO of Medulance, Ravjot Singh Arora, highlighted the company’s plan to utilize advanced technology like 5G and smart remote monitoring to create a comprehensive ecosystem. This includes partnering with corporates, governments, and insurance companies to enhance emergency healthcare services.
With the recent funding boost, Medulance is set to revolutionize emergency healthcare services and expand its reach across the country, benefiting thousands of individuals in need of immediate medical assistance.
