After the arrest of Sachin Vaze in Maharashtra, the politics is hot as well as many questions are being raised on the Mumbai Police as well. Now a major reshuffle has been made in Mumbai Police, Param Bir Singh has been removed from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner. He has been given the responsibility of Home Guard Department. Hemant Nagrale has been appointed the new Chief of Mumbai Police.

Ever since the meeting of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar and CM Thackeray, there were speculations that Param Bir Singh could be removed. Apart from this, there was a continuous round of meetings for the last two days. A meeting of CM Uddhav, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, DGP Hemant Nagrale and CP Param Bir Singh was held at the Chief Minister’s residence for four hours till late Tuesday night. After this, there was also a meeting of the Co-Coordination Committee of the MVA Government of Maharashtra on Wednesday morning.
