A political battle has begun between the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal for this year’s assembly elections. In this series, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will start the fourth phase of the BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from today. Earlier, Amit Shah, who reached Cooch Behar, said that we are taking out Parivartan Yatra not to change the Chief Minister in Bengal but to improve the condition of the farmers. Let me tell you that Shah will launch his ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from Cooch Behar.

Shah will address the rally

Let us know that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will start the fourth phase of BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from Cooch Behar on Thursday in view of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal and will also address a public meeting. In a statement issued by the BJP, the party’s chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said that Shah will address the public meeting at Thakurbari Maidan.

Republic Day postponed due to violence

He told that in the evening the Union Home Minister will address a meeting of the party’s social media volunteers in Kolkata. It is worth noting that earlier Shah’s tour of West Bengal was postponed due to the violence in the tractor parade of farmers on Republic Day in Delhi. The BJP has planned to carry out a ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in five phases to reach all 294 Vidhan Sabha seats in West Bengal.

Mamata targeted BJP

Let me tell you that earlier Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Wednesday that while mocking the rath yatra of BJP leaders, She said that they are behaving ‘as if they are Gods’. Along with this, Banerjee alleged that the political agenda of BJP leaders is to create divisions in the society on the basis of religion and the saffron party is spreading lies about Hinduism.

Attack on BJP’s Rath Yatra

The Trinamool Congress chief while addressing a rally in Raiganj said, ‘Rath Yatra is a religious festival. We all take part in it. We know that Lord Jagannath, Balarama and Bhagwati Subhadra travel in those chariots. But BJP leaders are performing rath yatras to fulfill their political objectives of creating division in the society and fighting each other. BJP leaders are performing rath yatras as if they are Gods.

Food being ordered from star hotels

Banerjee reiterated the BJP’s accusations of bringing people from outside the state for the assembly elections to be held in April-May, claiming that the saffron party leaders were only eating food in the homes of local people to be photographed. Accusing him of bringing food from five-star hotels, he said, “Some outsiders are coming in luxurious vehicles and take food in the homes of villagers to be photographed.” Banerjee said, ‘Bengal will be ruled by the people of the state. Not from people coming from Gujarat.
