Apara Ekadashi 2021: According to Hindu Luni-Solar Calendar, the Jyeshtha month has started on 27 May, and Apara Ekadashi, which is also known as Achala Ekadashi in different-different parts of the country will be celebrated on 6 June. Actually, Apara Ekadashi falls every year on Krishna Paksha of Ekadashi tithi in the month of Jyeshtha. According to Hindu Scriptures, if someone takes fast or Vrat and worships Lord Vishnu on Apara Ekadashi, his/her sins eradicates and Lord Vishnu fulfills all his dreams. Apara Ekadashi 2021 Date

As we have told you already, that Aparo Ekadashi falls every year on Krishna Paksha of Ekadashi tithi in the month of Jyeshtha, So this year the tithi is falling on 6 June, so the Apara Ekadashi will be observed on 6 Juen this year.

Significance and Importance

According to Shastra’s Apara Ekadashi is a very Auspicious Tithi. If someone takes vrat on this date, his/her, he can get rid of all type of sins, for which he can get to the Phantom form (Pret Yoni). It is written in 1 of the 18 Puranas, Padma Puran, that by taking vrat on this day, any person can get relief from the financial troubles, he has to face in his Future. In the Next Life, he will be born into a wealthy family and also earn wealth.

Vrat Katha

In ancient times, there was a virtuous king named Mahidhwaj. His younger brother Vajradhwaj was very cruel, unrighteous, and unjust. He used to hate his elder brother, Mahidhwaj. One Night Vajradhwaj killed his elder brother and buried his body under a Peepal tree. Due to this premature death, the king started living on the same Peepal tree as the soul and started doing different-different conflicts. One day suddenly a sage named Dhaumya from the front of the Peepal Tree. He saw Mahidhwaj’s soul and knew his past from his Powers. The reason for the demise was understood by him, due to his Powers.

The sage delighted the soul of Mahidhwaj from the Peepal tree descended from the peepal tree and preached him eschatology (Parlok Vidhya). The merciful sage himself fasted Apara (Achala) Ekadashi for liberation from the king’s soul and offered his virtuous soul to the Pret.. Due to the effect of this virtue, the king’s soul was freed from the form of a Pret Yoni. Giving thanks to the sage, wearing a divine body, Raja sat in a Pushpak plane and went to heaven.

Puja Vidhi

First of All, wake up early in the morning. Then, do some routine works, bathing, etc. After that, Sit in the place of Worship in your sweet home. Worship Lord Vishnu by offering Tulis Dal, Yellow Flowers, and Rituffal. Now, take the oath of Vrat. Then, Light the Dhup or Agar Batti in the front of Lord Vishnu’s cculpture or Photo. Now, take the Vrat of the whole day. In the Evening, worship Lord Vishu again by Aarti. Break your Fast the next day in the morning.
