Bayer India is a global life sciences company with a presence in India for over 125 years. Today, it has launched its Consumer Health Division in India comprising 10 brands across the categories of Allergy, Dermatology, Nutrition, and Analgesics. These brands include Saridon, Supradin, Becozyme C Forte, Benadon, Alaskan, Canesten, and Bears Tonic.

Bayer said in a statement that these products will be manufactured locally in India. Saridon and Supradyn, the brands previously licensed to the Piramal Consumer Products division, have been transferred back to Bayer’s new consumer health business at the end of the licensing agreement period. Bayer said Piramal will continue to distribute these brands for Bayer Consumer Health in India. The Bayer Consumer Health Division aims to expand access to everyday health solutions and reach more than 100 million consumers across communities in India over the next five years, the statement said.

The division will strengthen Bayer’s presence in India, complement its existing crop science and pharmaceutical divisions, and leverage digital opportunities across the entire value chain to enhance access to healthcare and personalized self-care solutions as well as reliable health information. will take advantage.
