2. Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na

It is a story of two college besties. A guy named Jai -a non-violent Rajput and Aditi -a girl with a highly aggressive, impulsive attitude. Looking to settle in life right after college with peace but with someone else. As they move ahead with their life they realise their love for each other until Jai starts dating a girl and Aditi start to miss his company and affection. 

3. Jab We Met

Probably one of the best love story made by Imtiaz Ali. Jab We Met became the epitome of love when it was released. The story revolves around a Geet a funny, feisty girl who helps a depressed businessman Aditya get over a breakup. Not only does she become his new emotional support but also starts having a soft spot for him. 

4. Socha Na Tha

Another amazing love story by Imtiaz Ali, Socha Na Tha depicts a story of two people who are arranged to marry each other but somehow fall in love with each other. A movie with a realistic approach to a love story. Despite having a beautiful plot along with good acting and dialogue delivery, the movie received a lukewarm response.

6. Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.

Six newly married couples take a ride on a four-day trip to Goa. This film consists of different stories all infused into one. One of the couple stories that really caught our eye was of Boman Irani and Shabana Azmi, a middle-aged married couple who were mocked by society for taking a second honeymoon. Despite facing social criticism they continue to live their lives without giving a single thought to the world. 

7. Wake Up Sid

Ranbir Kapoor and Konkana Sen Sharma’s starring movie was apparently the most relatable movie for the young generation. Sid’s character played by Ranbir is facing a lot of confusion about his life as well as career. And how he explores his relationship with the female protagonist in the movie played by Konkana. 

8. Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein

R Madhavan’s character Maddy made us all believe that love at first sight kinda love exists. The movie showed guys like Maddy are still hard to find and how he makes a girl fall in love with him.

9. Dum Laga Ke Haisha

Even after being forced into marriage, people do find their way to fall in love with each other. Ayushmann Khurrana’s character, Prem Prakash Tiwari, marries an educated overweight girl Sandhya ( Bhumi Pednekar) under parental pressure but later rejects her because of no understanding. Soon, they start understanding each other when the court orders them to make it work.

This film doesn’t need any explanation. A spectacular relationship between a deaf and mute boy and an autistic girl. The powerful performances by the actor will make your heart melt after you finish the movie.
