Breaking News: 4.4 magnitude earthquake hits Andaman and Nicobar islands
“On Wednesday, 24 November 2021 at 08:45 AM, An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 shaken east-northeast part of Campbell Bay area (Village in the Great Nicobar Island) of Andaman and Nicobar islands” informed by National Center for Seismology (NCS).

According to the National Center of Seismology, the tremors of the earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometres and occurred at around 8.45 AM, Wednesday.
There is no casualty has been reported in this earthquake that occurred in Andaman and Nicobar today.
Let us tell you, an Earthquake of 5.5 to 6.0 Magnitude can cause slight damage to buildings and other structures. 6.1 to 6.9 can cause a lot of damage in very populated areas, 7.0 to 7.9 are the Major earthquakes that causes Serious damages. 8.0 or greater can totally destroy communities near the epicentre.
