Corona: New case reduction for 5th consecutive day, but record 4,329 deaths

The country is witnessing a decline in new cases of Corona for 5 consecutive days. However, the number of deaths continues to rise. India has recorded the highest number of deaths of Covid infection with 4,329 deaths from Corona in the last 24 hours. This information was given by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday.

However, on the other hand, 2,63,533 new cases of the corona were reported, which was the lowest in 26 days. For the first time after 21 April, the number of Covid cases on Monday was less than three lakhs.

In India, 4,205 people died from Corona on May 12, while on May 7, the country recorded its highest number of cases of 4,14,188.

In the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 22,595 active cases have been reduced. Kerala has seen the biggest decline – 78,336 cases have been reduced there. While 3,492 cases have increased in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh
1,118 and Tamil Nadu has seen an increase of 12,254 cases. There is an increase in the active case of the total 9 states of the country.
