At least 26 people died and hundreds were injured on Friday due to the massive earthquake in Indonesia’s West Sulawesi province.

According to ‘The Jakarta Post’ newspaper, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake has caused a lot of damage in West Sulawesi’s capital city of Mamuzu. A hospital collapsed due to the earthquake and some people were buried under its rubble. Another hotel was also reportedly destroyed by natural disaster.
The epicenter of the earthquake is being reported 10 kilometers below the ground. Relief and rescue work is going on. Tsunami warnings have not been given.
