Himachal Pradesh Former CM Virbhadra Singh Passed Away: Former Himachal Pradesh CM and senior Congress leader Virbhadra Singh (87) passed away on Thursday morning. He was ill for some time. On April 13, he was found COVID-19 Positive. He was shifted to Max Hospital in Mohali for treatment. He later recovered from the corona. He was hospitalized again after falling ill again. Virbhadra Singh breathed his last on Thursday morning. Virbhadra Singh was born on June 23, 1934 in Shimla.

He has served as an MLA 9 times and an MP 4 times. In addition, Virbhadra Singh has served as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh 6 times. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have expressed condolences over the death of Virbhadra Singh. He expressed sympathy to the family.
