Jharkhand board Exam Date: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the dates for class 10 and 12 examinations. Council President Arvind Prasad Singh said that the Jharkhand board exams would start from 9 March, and continue till 26 March. The board is expected to announce the full datesheet this week. After the release of the datesheet, the students will be able to check the datesheet on the official website – jac.nic.in Students have to follow the COVID-19 guidelines at exam centers, wear masks, clean hands. Meanwhile, the board reopened the school for board examination students on 21 December. Online classes will continue for students who do not want to participate in physical classes.

In view of the delay in the session, preparations are being made by various educational institutions as well as by the Jharkhand Academic Council. The JAC president has instructed all the examination center operators to fix the examination center as soon as possible. Apart from this, CCTV cameras have also been instructed to install correctly at all examination centers. It is worth noting that this time, 60 percent syllabus will be taken in the examinations and under this, the candidates are also being prepared for the exam.

Last year, the results of class 10 and 12 examinations were released in July. Around 3.8 lakh students appeared in the Class 10 examination held in February, while 2.34 lakh (2,34,363) students took the intermediate examination. To pass the exam, students must score at least 30 percent of the aggregate for each subject as well. For subjects with both Practical and Theory classes, students must pass each one separately, according to the rules.

A total of 1400 exam centers were built in the examinations held last year, but this time the number of exam centers can be increased in view of Corona virus. With this, 50 percent of the students are expected to sit in the exam hall this time as compared to earlier.
