Maharashtra- 190 students of the same hostel in Washim COVID positive

In Maharashtra, the corona is once again spreading its legs. Now big news has come out of the Washin district of the state, in which it is reported that about 190 students have been found to be Corona positive. All the students lived in a school hostel, where the infection spread rapidly and caught the students. Apart from this, 4 teachers have also been found to be Corona positive. As soon as this news came to light, the entire district administration came into action and contact tracing started.

Students positive from Amravati and Yavatmal district

It has been reported that 318 new cases of corona were reported in a single day in Washim district, out of which 190 are in the hostel at Degaon in Risod tehsil. Where students have been found to be Corona positive, there are a total of 340 students in that hostel. The rest of the students are also being tested. Among the students who got corona, the most are from Amravati and Yavatmal district. At present, the school campus has been declared as a Containment Zone.

At another place, where the Maharashtra government is working hard to reduce the growing infection of Corona and all kinds of restrictions are being imposed, it is a matter of concern to find Corona positive of so many students at one place. With this, now even the district administration is blooming hands. District Collector S Shanmugarajan himself has reviewed the situation.

Corona raised concerns again in Maharashtra

Let us know that the second wave of Corona in Maharashtra has started from Amravati. A week long lockdown has been imposed in view of the increasing Corona cases here. Also, strict restrictions are being put in some other districts. CM Uddhav Thackeray himself has warned that if the Corona rules are not followed then there may be a lockdown in the entire state. Apart from this, the danger of new strain of Corona in Maharashtra also remains constant.
