Amidst the corona epidemic crisis, Maharashtra has become the first state in India to cross the 80 lakh vaccination limit from January 16 to now. This information has been obtained from the official data released on 6 April. The number of corona cases in Maharashtra and the number of people who lost their lives due to infection is also the highest in the country.

A total of 81,27,248 people have been vaccinated in the state so far, of which 72,98,206 people have been given the first dose, while 8,29,042 people have taken the second dose of the vaccine.

The next place in this list is Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, where the maximum number of people have been vaccinated so far.

A total of 76,89,507 people (68,17,703 first dose and 8,71,804 second dose) have received the vaccine in Gujarat, while 72,99,305 (64,00,581 and 8,98,724) people have been vaccinated in Rajasthan.

After them comes the number of Uttar Pradesh, where so far 71,98,372 (60,71,090 and 11,27,282) and 65,41,370 (57,91,392 and 7,49,978) people have received vaccine doses in West Bengal.

Talking about small states, Mizoram (73,566), Sikkim (83,797), Puducherry (85,421) and Nagaland (86,221) number.

From the bottom, the Union Territories number Lakshadweep Islands (8,196), Daman and Diu (22,989), Andaman and Nicobar Islands (25,217) and Dadar and Nagar Haveli (26,133).

Maharashtra has received the maximum number of vaccinations till date in Maharashtra, which is 14,10,537. After this, 11,14,040 people have received the dose in Pune.

The pace of Corona in both Mumbai and Pune cities is not taking its name and these cities remain national mega-hotspots of Covid-19. In addition to imposing night curfew in the state from April 5, the rules have been made even more stringent to prevent the spread of corona.
