With every passing year, bigger and better smartphones are being released by the world’s leading manufacturers. 2022 has been another huge twelve months for these handheld devices, with the iPhone 14 the latest to hit the market. And now, attention is beginning to turn to 2023 and what’s to come.

Samsung Galaxy 23

The Galaxy series from leading smartphone manufacturer Samsung is their flagship collection, and 2022 saw the release of the Samsung Galaxy 22 in February. So, we will likely see the Samsung Galaxy 23 released around a similar time next year. The battle of the smartphones has raged for years between Samsung and Apple, the creators of the iPhone, and it’s fair to say Samsung have come to the fore in recent times. The Samsung Galaxy 23 will be their best device yet, with spec increases across the board set to occur. If this handset steps up again on the gaming front, it will be one of the platforms ideal for playing online slots, as well as other casino games, and streets ahead of the competition.

Apple iPhone 15

How can you construct a list of smartphones coming in 2023 and mention the Samsung Galaxy 23 and not the next Apple iPhone? You can’t, right? Again, we can look to when the Apple iPhone 14 was released in September 2022 and predict we will see the latest iPhone in September 2023. As we mentioned above, the battle continues between Apple and Samsung, and the former will have to keep upping their game to get one over on the latter. It’s likely that Apple will ramp up the performance on board their range of iPhones with the 15, and what will be critical is if there is again a step up on the battery front, which has often been a drawback of the devices.

Huawei P60 Pro Plus

The handset that is likely to steal an early march on the competition is the Huawei P60 Pro Plus, with it expected to hit the market in January 2023. So, it will be around long before both the Samsung Galaxy 23 and the Apple iPhone 15. However, what can this device do to compete? Well, in the first instance, it will be a dual-sim handset, which is an advantage over most other smartphones. And there are likely to be improvements across the board, with a new, bigger, better. A larger display with a higher refresh rate. And five rear cameras.

Samsung Galaxy A74 5G

Yes, we know this is the second entry on the list for Samsung, but the A74 5G deserves mention because it’s a more affordable high-spec smartphone that is set to drop in 2023. It’s more cost-effective than the Samsung Galaxy 23, but it’s a handset that has everything you will need from a smartphone, such as dual-sim capabilities, the latest Android operating system, up to 10GB of RAM and plenty more. It may not be as sparky or glamorous as the Samsung Galaxy 23, but it’s still going to be one of the most popular handsets of next year.
