Punishment has been announced in the Nikita Tomar murder case. The court sentenced the convicts Tausif and Rehan to life imprisonment. On March 24, the Faridabad Fast Track Court convicted these two accused. The third accused Azharuddin was acquitted by the court.
In October 2020, 21-year-old Nikita Tomar was killed in Ballabhgarh, Haryana in broad daylight. The girl was going back to her home from college at the time of the incident. The victim’s family had said that the main accused liked the victim and she was repeatedly rejecting his proposal, causing him to get angry and kill the victim. The second accused were his accomplices. The family says that the family had lodged an FIR against the accused Tausif for kidnapping in 2018.
