On World Water Day 2021, PM modi will launch “Jal Shakti Abhiyan” through online Video Conferencing. PM will launch Jal Shakti Abhiyan at 12:30 PM Today (Monday).

On this occasion, the Union Ministry of Water, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Government of Madhya Pradesh will sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the project connecting the rivers of Ken-Betwa. The theme of this campaign is ‘Catch the Rain Where It Falls, when It Falls’ and the campaign will run continuously from 22 March to 30 November 2021. The objective of this program is to raise awareness among the people about conservation of rain water.
