Preparations to open, universities, and colleges under Corona control from March

Coronavirus is now under control in the country. In such a situation, with the smooth opening of economic activities, the government is now preparing to open the Universities and Colleges which have been closed since March last year. The government plans to open colleges from 10 March. However, for research work and examinations, they can also be opened in February by following the Kovid guidelines. The Union Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission have started planning for this. At the same time suggestions have also been sought from the states.

Schools have been opened for 10th and 12th in many states. In such a situation, now university students are also demanding to open a college. Students of Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University and University of Delhi say that when schools can open, colleges should also be opened. Students living in remote areas are losing out in online studies.

Colleges to be opened in Delhi from February After the new case of Corona has come down, all schools will be opened in Delhi for students of Navi and Class XI from 5 February. Also, colleges, polytechnics and ITI institutes have also been allowed to open. But the guidelines of the Corona Protocol have to be strictly followed.

At the same time, students will be able to come to the class only after the parents’ permission. Physical presence will not be mandatory. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia gave this information on Friday. The conditions will remain the same as announced on 18 January while opening the school for students of class X and XII.

The school Sisodia, which is opening for the preparation of practical and examinations, has directed the officials to ensure the safety of all the students from Corona and to make better arrangements for cleanliness in the entire campus. In a digital press conference on Friday, Sisodia said that after the school college is closed for 10 months, they are now being opened for practical and exam preparation. Therefore it is necessary to make complete arrangements to reopen schools and colleges.
