The BJP has been severely accused for misuse Aadhar Data in Puducherry between the assembly elections. In a petition filed in the Madras High Court, it has been alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party has used the information related to Aadhaar for misuse.

After hearing this petition, the Madras High Court, calling it serious, ordered the inquiry commission to submit a report regarding misuse Aadhar Data in Puducherry.

What is the charge on BJP in the petition?

According to Bar and Bench, the petition has been filed in the Madras High Court by the President of the Democratic Youth Federation of India. In which it has been said that the citizens of Puducherry received the links through the message of joining the Whats group on behalf of the Puducherry BJP, although it was later learned that these messages were sent by someone from the BJP ruled state.

In this petition, it has been alleged that BJP has used Aadhaar details for the purpose of campaigning, as well as taking out the phone numbers of voters through Aadhaar number.

The petitioner accused the BJP government at the Center of failing to perform its duties, adding that the government played with the privacy of voters for political interests.

On Wednesday, a bench of Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice Senthilkumar, terming the matter as serious, reprimanded the Election Commission and asked the Cyber ​​Crime Division to investigate the matter.
