Redmi Note 12S Launched: Check Its Price, Features, Specifications, and Availability

On Tuesday, Redmi Note 12S was rolled out in Poland. Redmi Note 12S is the latest addition to the Redmi Note 12 series. The series includes the Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G models, Redmi Note 12 Turbo, Redmi Note 12 4G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 5G. The newly launched smartphone is the successor of the Redmi Note 11S. This smartphone supports 33W fast charging support with a 5,000mAh battery unit. Redmi Note 12S is also powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC.

Redmi Note 12S Price, Availability

Redmi Note 12S is currently available in three color variants. With options available -Onyx Black, Pearl Green, and Ice Blue, the newly launched smartphone is currently available in Poland only. However, this smartphone has been launched in two storage variants, 8GB + 256GB and 6GB + 128 GB. Moreover, in the present scenario, the Xiaomi store based in Poland is available for procurement in only one storage variant, that is 8GB of RAM and 256GB ROM, and in only two color variants, Onyx Black and Ice Blue. Xiaomi has not announced anything about the launch of the phone in India or worldwide.

Specifications, and Features

Redmi Note 12S features an AMOLED DotDisplay panel of 6.43-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080). This Smartphone possesses a local brightness of up to 1,000nits, a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, and a pixel density of 409ppi. Redmi Note 12S also supports Reading Mode 3.0. The phone’s storage can be expandable up to 1TB with the help of a dedicated slot and microSD card. This phone runs on MIUI 14, Android 13-based.

At the optics front, Redmi Note 12S offers a triple rear camera. It includes a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens, an ultra-wide lens with an 8-megapixel sensor, and a primary sensor of 108- megapixels. The cameras are accompanied by LED flash. This Smartphone also offers a 16-megapixel front camera, which is centrally aligned. This phone requires a Type-C charging port. It also offers an AI face unlock feature, a fingerprint sensor that is side-mounted, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
