Career

Robert Downey Jr. had joined films as a child artist in his childhood, but he first resorted to theater to make a career as a mature actor. Personal life and More

Robert has seen many ups and downs in his life. His childhood was spent in the midst of his father’s drug addiction. Of which he also became a victim. After making a career in films, he married Deborah Falconer in the year 1992. His worst time started only after a few years of marriage. Robert Downey Jr. was charged with intoxication. Due to which he had to stay in jail. During his stay in jail, other prisoners used to beat him badly.

When he came out of jail on parole a year later, his wife sent him a divorce notice. By the year 2001, he had gone to jail many times. His social image was badly affected by this, but after the year 2004, new changes started coming into his life. He met Susan Levin. Robert Downey Jr. proposed to Susan, but in front of Robert Downey Jr., Susan put a condition that she would not marry him until he gave up the addiction after 1 year both got married together.
