The famous singer Selena Gomez has around 16 tattoos inked on her body.  Back in 2012, Selena Gomez debuted her first tattoo, judging by the looks of it, it was a tiny black heart. However, during her appearance at the pre-Oscar party, she revealed- “It’s a music note, “Everybody thought that it was a heart for some reason, but music is a big influence in my life.”

“I was named after a singer, I’m a singer, and a lot of other personal reasons,” she explained, referring to the late Latina singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez.

Gomez got another second tattoo, “LXXVI,” in the same year 2012. It was done by famous celebrity tattoo artist  Keith Scott “Bang Bang” McCurdy.

“The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her,” Bang Bang told the Daily Mail. After one year, she posted a picture of a tattoo with the caption, “1976.”

As per rumors, the tattoo is dedicated to her mother Many Teefeywho born in 1976 and was just 16 when Selena Gomez was born.

Later, Selena Gomez got her third tattoo but kept it under the radar without showing it to the public. “I’ve done a pretty good job of hiding it,” she stated during her appearance at a Ryan Seacrest radio interview in 2013. After she was clicked at the beach by the paparazzi and her tattoo came to the light, Gomez explained to Seacrest that it is “God who strengthens me” on her thigh. An excerpt from her favorite Bible passage, Philippians 4:13. The exact tie of when Selena got it does still not known.
