The pattern for SBI PO Prelims 2021 is going to be the following:

  • Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions in 20 minutes)
  • Reasoning Ability (35 questions in 20 minutes)
  • English Language (30 questions in 20 minutes)

So you need to attempt 100 questions in 60 minutes. Each question carries one mark. So the total mark for the Mains exam is 100.

SBI PO Mains Syllabus and Pattern

Last year, there were only 2000 PO positions vacant. And candidates that appeared for it were in lakhs. Very few candidates get past the Preliminary stage. Those who get through will get to attend the Mains examination.

The pattern for SBI PO Mains 2021 is:

  • Data Analysis & Interpretation (35 questions in 45 minutes)
  • Reasoning (45 questions in 60 minutes)
  • English Language (35 questions in 40 minutes)
  • General & Banking Awareness (40 questions in 35 minutes)
  • English (Descriptive) (2 questions in 3 minutes)

So you need to attend 147 questions in 210 minutes or three and a half hours. The total marks will be 250 for Mains.
