Disha Ravi, an accused in the toolkit case, was produced in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patiala House Court on Monday. Disha was produced before the court at the end of his period of judicial custody. Patiala House Court has sent Disha Ravi in one day police custody. The Delhi Police had demanded a five-day police custody.

Disha was arrested on social media for sharing a ‘toolkit’ related to farmers’ protests. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma allowed the police to interrogate Ravi in ​​custody after he said that the climate activist needed to be confronted by other co-accused in the case.

Ravi was present in court after three days of judicial custody ended. The court on Friday remanded him to judicial custody after police said that he was not required for custodial interrogation at present.

The police had said that after co-accused Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk joined the interrogation on February 22, she would demand to send Ravi for custody. Disha Ravi was arrested by the Delhi Police from Bengaluru on 13 February.
