Unique Land Parcel Identification Number: A piece of land is assigned a 14-digit identifying number known as the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN). It’s an alpha-numeric Identification Number for every landed property that includes the plot’s data as well as its area and transverse and meridional coordinates. It is a component of the Digital India Land Titles Modernisation Programme (DILRMP), which began in 2008.

Land Records Modernisation Programme in India
