A massive fire broke out in the Torre neighbourhood of Recife, Brazil, on 28 March. According to TimesNowWorld, firefighters on a large scale were trying to control the fire in a high-rise building under construction located in Recife, Pernambuco State, closer to Real da Torre and Padre Anchieta streets.
Additionally, there were reports of debris falling from the building onto the streets caused by the fire. As a precautionary measure, police authorities shut down the electricity in the area and evacuated nearby buildings. Until now, no casualties have been reported.
