World Day for Safety and Health at Work is a United Nations International Day celebrated every year on April 28. The day aims to promote safe, healthy, and decent work at workplaces so that unfortunate incidents that happen all around the world can be avoided.

It was announced by the International Labor Organization (ILO) to celebrate this day on April 28 every year, which the International Labor Organization has been celebrating every year since 2003. The biggest objective behind celebrating this day is to bring international attention to the magnitude of any problem and to promote a healthy work culture so that the number of deaths due to workload can be reduced.

World Day of Safety and Health at Work mainly spreads the prevention of any kind of accidents and diseases in the workplace. It is an awareness program under which people are told how they can avoid various diseases and accidents at the workplace. Most of the time every day, people spend in the organization where they work to earn money. It is important to maintain healthy standards at the workplace, so as to avoid any kind of disturbances, work-related injuries, etc.
