BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, who recently joined the Trinamool Congress, has been appointed as the Vice President of the TMC and a member of the National Working Committee. Let me tell you that Yashwant Sinha joined TMC a few days ago. Yashwant Sinha, a senior BJP leader, left the BJP in 2018 and has been continuously raising his voice against the policies of the Modi government. Sinha had announced the end of his relationship with the BJP after Narajagi from PM Narendra Modi’s demonetisation to GST decision.

Yashwant Sinha was elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time in 1998. Sinha has been a Member of Parliament from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. He reached the Lok Sabha three times as an MP. He was also the Finance Minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.

This government lasted only for 13 months. In 1999, Vajpayee returned again and Yashwant Sinha got the finance ministry. Not only this, he was also the Finance Minister in the former Prime Minister Chandrasekhar’s government from 1990 to 1991.
