1. Shri Krishna Janam Bhumi Temple

One of the most famous temples in Hindu culture. It is situated in Mallapura, Mathura. It is believed that Lord Krishna was born here. It is located close to Shahi Eidgah mosque made by Aurangzeb. During the early 6th century BC, many temples were damaged or destroyed by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1670, it was one of them. This is one of the most visited temples on the Hindu pilgrimage.

The place is often regarded as the centre to study and research as well as the preservation of the heritage left by the Mathura School of Sculpture. Apart from that, the museum is worth your time. The shape of the building is octagonal in shape and made entirely of red sandstone.
