7-day curfew may be announced in Delhi: Report #DelhiLockdown

Weekend curfew was in force in Delhi starting from 10 pm on 16 April till 5 in the morning of 19 April. However, now CM Arvind Kejriwal can impose a one-week curfew in the capital. After meeting the Lieutenant Governor on April 19, Kejriwal can announce curfew in Delhi by April 26.

Corona cases are increasing very fast in Delhi. The positivity rate in the capital has reached 30 percent.

Record case in Delhi

On April 18, new records of Corona virus were reported again in the national capital Delhi. In Delhi, 25,462 new Corona cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. He had 24,000 cases in the last 24 hours and 19,500 cases in the 24 hours before that.

At the same time, in Rajdhani, the positivity rate has increased to about 30 percent in the last 24 hours, whereas it was only 24 percent in its last 24 hours.

Kejriwal’s letter to PM

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 18 April informing him about the situation in Delhi and spoke of heavy beds and lack of oxygen. CM wrote in the letter that, “Corona situation in Delhi has become very serious. There is a severe shortage of corona beds and oxygen. Almost all ICU beds are full. We are all trying our level, helping you. needed.”

Kejriwal said, “Out of 10,000 beds of the central government, 7,000 coronas should be reserved for patients, only 1800 beds are reserved. There is a shortage of oxygen in Delhi, that should also be provided immediately. ”
