A day after Disha Ravi's arrest and the issuance of non-bailable warrants against Nikita Jacob and Shantanu over the 'Toolkit' case, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday attacked the government saying "India will not remain silent" . Referring to a couplet in Hindi, Rahul Gandhi tweeted that "India will not remain silent".

Disha Ravi is one of the founders of the “Friday for Future” campaign and she allegedly edited the ‘toolkit‘ and circulated it on social media. She was detained from her home in Soladevanahalli area of Bengaluru on Saturday.

Delhi Police had on 4 February lodged an FIR against the makers of the ‘Toolkit’ under sections 124-A, 120-A and 153-A of the Indian Penal Code for promoting sedition, criminal conspiracy and hatred. This toolkit was later shared by global climate activist Greta Thunberg.

The police have described Disha Ravi as an important conspirator in the creation and dissemination of the document and stated that he had started a WhatsApp group and collaborated to draft the document.
