Wasim Rizvi petition on Quranic verses, BJP bid – do not disturb the atmosphere

Complaints and protests in the state are continuously increasing against Wasim Rizvi, former president of the Shia Waqf Board, which demanded the removal of 26 verses from the Quran. The head of Islam, Madrasa Darul Uloom, Deoband, has condemned this demand of Wasim Rizvi as an attempt to disturb peace in the country. Darul Uloom, Vice-Chancellor of Deoband Abul Kasami Nomani said, “The Quran teaches us peace and forgiveness. Not a word of it has been changed since it came into the world and there is no scope to do so.”
At the same time, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that his party is strongly against those who insult any religious scripture. He said that Rizvi should not spoil the atmosphere of the country by indulging in such acts.
Let us tell you that Rizvi had recently filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the removal of 26 verses of the Quran, saying that these verses “promote violent tendencies. These are not part of the original Quran and have been added after the death of Prophet Mohammed.

We are also sure that the Supreme Court will dismiss this petition. ” He urged Muslims to work patiently in this matter.
At the same time, the Jamaat-Raza-e-Mustafa national vice-president Salman Hasan Khan raised the question, “What is his (Rizvi’s) religion? He has hurt the sentiments of millions of Muslims. He did this deliberately to disturb the peace.” “A case should be registered against him under the National Security Act (NSA) and sent to jail. He is a threat to society.”
Meanwhile, 2 complaints have also been filed in the police against Rizvi in Muzaffarnagar. These complaints have been lodged by Faizuddin Siddiqui, the brother of local lawyer Asad Jama and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
